Are Cash Back Programs For Buying A San Antonio Home Legitimate?

Here’s a question if you’re looking to buy a San Antonio area home.

If you’ve been to a Realtor’s advertisement offering a cash bonus for home buyers, how should you react?

It seems most buyers turn away - not trusting what seems to be a too-good-to-be-true offer. But is it?

Here are the facts.

The real estate business is highly competitive. Realtors ® literally fight for your business. Offering a cash back bonus is simply a way for a Realtor® to gain a competitive edge.

Look at it this way.

Every business has to pay money to make money. Cash back offers are a totally legitimate use of realty marketing funds; and, contrary to the counter marketing campaigns launched by the competition to discourage acceptance of buyer cash back programs, the programs are very good for home buyers.

So, don’t buy the argument that a cash back program in some way implies that the Realtor® is substandard, slick, or shady. Simply accept the fact that the Realtor®  is willing to reward your loyalty by giving back a portion of the commission earned for capably serving you.

That said, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t carefully check out a Realtor® offering a cash back program because, when it comes to buying a home, you owe it to yourself to shop for the best Realtor® under all circumstances. Longevity, professional credentials, and references count. Don’t hesitate to be picky.

Our Realty Solutions Team is offering a cash back program for public service home buyers. Click for specifics and feel free to check out our credentials at SanAntonioHomeQuest.com.
